NOEMI GUTIERREZ FISHMAN

Noemi Gutierrez Fishman is an accomplished public relations professional. Her career achievements include implementing award-winning public relations and marketing strategies, which involve extensive writing for a wide-range of audiences in both public and private sectors as well as ethnic media.
A driven professional, Noemi is an expert in creating messages that resonate with the Latino community. She led the public relations efforts for Health Net of California’s Latino programs where she developed and executed media training, press conferences, newsletter articles, press kits, product launch events and web copy. She also served as a Spanish-language spokesperson to promote the company’s products, events and programs targeting Latinos.
Her expertise in Latino marketing and public relations includes successfully planning and implementing community relations and social marketing strategies to promote “It’s Up to Me – To Prevent Teen Pregnancy,” a public awareness campaign in California. She served as a liaison to community-based organizations and non-profits on behalf of the California Department of Health Services for this campaign, which included advertising, marketing, public relations and community relations.
Noemi has a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism with an emphasis in public relations and a minor in sociology from California State University, Northridge.
